Description
Since joining Ozark Fire in 2009 as a reserve firefighter, Battalion Chief Caleb Thompson has built a distinguished career in fire service. From his early days balancing roles at Battlefield Fire (2009–2011) to becoming a full-time firefighter in 2011, Caleb has risen through the ranks—serving as firefighter, engineer, captain, and now A-Shift commander.
Beyond leading A-Shift and overseeing operations across three fire stations, Caleb manages the district’s uniform and PPE programs. As a certified MSA technician, he plays a vital role in maintaining SCBA equipment in-house, ensuring peak performance and firefighter safety.
Caleb and his wife, Christie, reside in Christian County, where they cherish time with their four children and one granddaughter. Their passion for the outdoors extends to equine and motorsport activities, making the most of every adventure together.
